TeacherKit Classroom Manager App Reviews

I use the app in the past on my iPad with no trouble. I now have an iPhone and wanted to use this app, so I paid for the premium subscription thinking that seating charts were available. Nothing on the website or the App Store indicates that seating charts are not available on the iPhone. Heads up, they are not. After waiting three days for reply to request for help, I did receive messages on my email and on the app informing me that this option is not available on the iPhone but might be in the future. While it is a wonderful app, I purchased the premium subscription with the intent of using the seating chart.

Please fix the constant crashing involved with adding and changing students "behavior." Please add backups outside of just Dropbox. Their size limit is laughable and things like Google cloud have 15gb free...

I really like the app because it is a great app for me to teach. Also, I just wish we can write comments to the kids. Overall, I like the app.

I tried TeacherKit last year and have been loving it ever since! It has proven extremely helpful in classroom administration and management; its saved me so much time in grading, attendance, and reporting. Its well worth the upgrade for the reports alone. The staff is highly responsive to any issue that arises - I cant say enough about how good the support is. Thanks, TK!

The app crashes all the time and I cant get any help.

I love the way of inputting data, but if there is the ability for adding duration as a timer for StudentCallout, it will be great.

Somehow the app was running smoothly and I considered it a great app...but suddenly all my data was deleted and classes and grades were gone...it doesnt seem to have a back up system so if this happens to u...you are screwed...

This app could be better as a teacher app. As SaaS I would like it to be available on my computer when Im in class. Its not allowed to have phone on in class. So I have to be the first to show example. Then why cant I send report to parent directly from the app and my iPhone? The developers have a lot work to do.

This app has great potential and when it works it’s wonderful. However, for the last two weeks it has been freezing and I can’t get anything done. Teachers do not have the time to wait for an app to unfreeze. We are doing multiple tasks and need a tool to assist us. Unfortunately, this is not the tool. It’s a time waster.

With a lot of new students each semester its tough keeping track of them all. Teacher Kit lets me have all their information and pictures right on my iPhone and iPad mini. Any questions about grades can be answered immediately, and attendance is quick and painless. Plus, being able to quickly mark a student for good or bad behavior is a great way to give students that always watched panopticon feeling. Finally, the forms it generates make you look like you take assessment seriously. Adjuncts still motivated and enthusiastic about teaching, get this app! Lazy tenured professors that have given up, act young by getting it even if you dont know what an "app" is. If only it graded assignments by itself it would be perfect.

I seriously cant imagine class without it.

Used to love this app. Used it last year. Cant get it to work this school year. Have contacted them for help but so far no response!!!

I like the app & really want to love it but it crashes. I enter grades in one class and when I open another, it freezes, then closes. This happens with entering students & photos. I need quick & I dont have time for glitches. I like what it does offer but it could be more especially if I am going to pay for it.

1.This app does not sync between iOS devices. If you start it on the iPhone youre stuck on the iPhone. You cant start on the iPhone and pick up on your iPad. The iPhone had lass features then the iPad by the way. This is extremely important and its not spelled out anywhere. (Their response was we never said there was syncing between iOS devices) 2. Creating student feedback takes 3 clicks (only 2 on class dojo) and there is no way to leave feedback for multiple students at once. 3 clicks per person for a team of 6 kids who were the first to clean up creates a long lag and those lags add up especially for teachers who see multiple classes a day for short periods of time. 3. Backups dont work at the moment I was told they have a fix and it will be available soon but who knows

Originally, I downloaded & installed right after iOS9 came out. There were major problems with TK not opening or running right (originally gave it only 2 stars). Contacted the support team and got immediate explanations & offer to work on their beta-testing to improve. Ran it under TestFlight for a few weeks and their latest update finally fixed the time lags. Its very useful and definitely worth checking out to manage your classroom. Now that its up and running properly, Ive revised my rating to 5 stars and will continue to play with it to fully integrate it into my classroom management strategy. Thanks, TK!

I like this program for keeping track of the attendance and grades for elementary students, its convenient and highly satisfied.

Indispensable part of my day. It is so nice to be able to do everything I need to do in one app.

Im not a teacher, but an activities director for a nursing home and have to take attendance for my residents who participate. This app is great for that, letting me add my regularly scheduled activities, and all my residents. However, it constantly freezes, runs very slow, and occasionally quits. I love this app and want to continue to use it but if it takes me longer than tracking attendance on paper, its not worth my time. I also wish there was a way to add lessons and attendance online.

The app become too slow after iOS upgrade Please do something
