Real help for teachers! I especially like that I can choose the weight of each task.
Looks good, but in description russian language has exist, but i cannot to find that in app.
I find this app really useful helping me during my work at school. Many compliments!
A very useful app, if only it was compatible with MacBook.
I love this app and I find it easy to use. It could be even better with the possibility to write notes about the whole class and the everyday lessons. Thanks a lot.
Im loving this!
Nice app, but, after the last update, it didnt works anymore on iPhone4 from now.
I dont know what you meant by this past updat but literally NONE of the things listed are actually updated. Callout STILL doesnt work and whatever you meant by photo updates? I dont see any changes to photos at all... Utter failure
First the app crashes constantly! Secondly, the call-out doesnt export your students. The app, although intuitive is primitive. You can add behaviors but you cant customize their icons. You cant create and weight categories in the grade book. Utter fail as a useful tool for a teacher!
I decided to take a chance on this app despite the fact the 2 or 3 only reviews were negative. So far I love this app! I use it for attendance, seating charts and mostly grad keeping. I love that it give you a lot of data back on your grades. I get whole class percentages, individual percentages and combine assignment percentages. There is an option to track behavior too but I use classroom dojo for that. Im so happy I took the chance on this app! I will definitely be paying for the upgrades in the future!
I never leave reviews, but I believe in this apps potential. I would love this app if they could change: 1. ADD Tardy to attendance. Currently there is no way to keep track of late students. This is a no-brainer - WHY on earth would this NOT be an option? Students arrive late and we are responsible for keeping track of that. This small detail makes this app almost purposeless, as it forces me to keep track of tardies separately - on a similar application from a different company. 2. Why is "present" the LAST option in attendance? Each day, more students should be present than tardy, so you should not have to cycle through "absent" to get to "present" for each student. Yes, you can select "all" as present, but we teachers do not always take attendance that way. 3. Crashing issue seems to be fixed but still doesnt cooperate reliably with student callout. Thankfully, I have kept back up options because of this apps unreliability. 4. I should be able to view notifiers on each student from the roster screen. Currently, I must click on the behavior tab to see who has had behavioral issues, then go back to the roster tab to click on the individual to see what the behavioral issues are since I cant actually see the behavioral history on a student from the behavioral screen. Lastly, 5. Give me the option to see all the students one one screen without scrolling, A. I have classes with up to 46 students, and its a pain and waste of time to keep scrolling around up and down as I take attendance. Yes the pictures would be smaller, but give me the option to resume a larger size after taking attendance. B- give me an option to have a list view as well as the current icon/picture view. Perhaps, in a list view, put a red circle with a number for absences, yellow for tardy, and other important notifications after each name to make it easy to identify important information at once rather than clicking across multiple tabs to gather information on an individual student level (not overall class level) that could be easily seen on one screen. Ps. Was using the app as I was typing this review and it just crashed.
I use the app for all sort of different classes and the results are great! Organized, efficient and paperless
it made my life easier in tracking the attendance of my students.
Waste of money! Waste of time, waste of space.
I have used TeacherKit for years, and have been through good times and bad. Right now, the app is the best of its kind. I use it mainly for seating charts (as a music teacher, I have a lot of classes), taking roll, and behavior notes. I dont use the paid version because I use letter grades and it does numbers, I think. The reason I cant give it five stars is that it crashes too often. Restarting the app fixes the problem, but it is annoying to have to do that so often. I do depend on TeacherKit a lot.
For those like me who find it difficult to remember students names and tedious to check attendance, TeacherKit is a life saver.
I was unimpressed when I first tried this app awhile ago, but because my previous gradebook had some limitations, I took another look for this year, and I am pretty impressed. 1. I like the multi-functional gradebook, photo seating chart, behavior tracker, planner all in one place! 2. Help was very quick, and when time zones permitted, in real time. 3. I love the look of the reports. 4. I love the colors for each class, as my notebooks are class color-coded and it helps keep me organized. So, why not 5 stars? I feel some of the editing functions could be more efficient, I need reporting by individual student, and, I just havent used it in the classroom, which is where real problems and real timesavers become evident. I have noticed that, as someone else noted, it kicks out from time to time, but I cant imagine why someone would say it was a total waste of space. Im optimistic that improvements will continue. I will review again after Ive used in class!
V2.4.1 Very nice update, thanks a lot TeacherPal: you are a great great great app, But we need more and more enhancements Thanks
Awesome
